Graham was Chief Executive of defence technology company QinetiQ Plc, which he led through its privatisation from MoD and subsequent flotation on the London Stock Exchange. He has gone on to chair a considerable number of both privately and publicly owned businesses, including LGC (ex Laboratory of the Government Chemist) and The Royal Mint. He has been Interim Chair of Octric since December 2024.

Chet brings over 30 years of global technology expertise and leadership in semiconductors across multiple market sectors. He previously held senior roles at Arm, MediaTek and indie Semiconductor, specialising in P&L ownership, strategy, product management and scaling cross‑functional teams. Passionate about technology’s positive societal impact, he has also advised the UK government on international trade and investment.

Evelyn Dickey was a Non-Executive Member of the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA) Board from June 2015 to 31 July 2024 and was also chair of the NDA Remuneration Committee.

Evelyn has extensive human resources experience, leading design and delivery of major change programmes, business restructuring, employee relations, resourcing, executive remuneration, organisational capability and performance management initiatives.

Evelyn has worked in HR consultancy and as HR Director (HR Operations) for Boots the Chemist, before joining Severn Trent’s HR function in November 2006, retiring as Director of HR in 2017. Evelyn is also a member of the independent panel for Menopause Friendly Accreditation.

Andy serves as the Shareholder Non-Executive Director (NED). Having previously led the Ministry of Defence's acquisition of the company, he brings extensive expertise as a commercial and deals professional.
He is focused on ensuring the UK maintains global competitiveness through secure access to cutting edge technologies.

Dr Anna Floyer-Lea is a Non-Executive Director and chairs the Audit and Risk Committee at Octric.  She is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and holds a PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Oxford.  Anna is an experienced CFO and Investment professional with expertise in finance, governance, and innovation.

Anna was previously CFO of BP Ventures and Launchpad where she invested over $500m into high tech companies to advance sustainability and the green energy transition. She has also held senior roles at HMRC and HM Treasury where she focussed on research and innovation policy supporting companies to commercialise intellectual property in the UK.

Brett is the Director of Complex Transactions & Commercial Models in the Cabinet Office tasked to resolve Government’s most critical commercial challenges. He joined HMG 8 years ago and his previous government roles include leading the commercial teams within the MOD Defence Nuclear Organisation and a Complex Transactions Consultant working on Exiting the European Union.

Brett is a MCIPS & Cert IoD Commercial Professional and is a Government Non Executive Director for ESCO Maritime Solutions, Ultra Electronics and more recently, Octric Semiconductors, a Ministry of Defence acquisition of a chip-making facility at Newton Aycliffe. He has held SRO responsibilities for the successful nationalisation of AWE - Atomic Weapons Establishment and the acquisition of Sheffield Forgemasters International Limited. Before his time in Government he worked in private industry in a variety of consulting roles for 15 years.

Sir Christopher has wide experience of the international microwave and semiconductor industry. He was previously Chair of the ERA Foundation; Chair of the international judging panel for the Queen Elizabeth Prize for Engineering; member of the UK Prime Minister’s Advisory Council for Science and Technology; President of Universities UK; Vice-President of the Royal Academy of Engineering and President of the Institute of Engineering and Technology. He has been a non-executive director of several companies and his past consultancy work includes Sony, M/A-COM, GE, Lucas-Varity, and Filtronic.

He was President and Vice-Chancellor of the University of Southampton and previously the University of Surrey. Prior to his appointment at Surrey, Sir Christopher was Joint Chief Executive Officer of Filtronic plc. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society, the Royal Academy of Engineering, the IEEE, the IET and the City and Guilds Institute. He was awarded the 1999 IEEE Microwave Prize, the 2009 IEEE Distinguished Educator Award, the 2012 Outstanding Career Award from the European Microwave Association and in 2004 the Royal Academy of Engineering’s Silver Medal in 2004 for his “outstanding contributions to the UK microwave semiconductor industry”.

Carolyn is an experienced People leader with 25 years, beginning her career as an apprentice at Filtronic Compound Semiconductors. Over the course of her career, she has built deep expertise within the semiconductor industry, supporting teams across the full spectrum of HR, Learning, Development and Culture. Recognised for her collaborative style, Carolyn is committed to fostering positive workplace cultures and enabling people-focused practices that empower individuals and strengthen organisational performance.

Stuart is a RF/Microwave semiconductor executive with over 40 years of global business experience. Operating in both commercial and defence market sectors he has held leadership roles at Plessey, GEC-Marconi, REMEC, Filtronic, RFMD and MACOM. He brings to Octric a proven track record in business strategy, global business development, sales management and product management.  

Dr Rob Davis has 40 years’ experience in microwave compound semiconductor electronics. He started his career at the Royal Signals and Radar Establishment (now QinetiQ) developing early microwave integrated circuit technology. He has subsequently led device engineering activities across a variety of electronic and photonic technologies at Filtronic Compound Semiconductors, RFMD (now Qorvo) and Coherent Inc. As Octric CTO, Rob leads technology development and associated engineering teams.

Rob has a degree in Physics and a PhD in millimetre-wave electronics.

Mark Devlin is a seasoned Facilities and Engineering leader with deep experience across COMAH‑regulated industries, including pharmaceuticals, chemicals, and oil and gas. With a strong technical foundation and a passion for continuous improvement, he has led multidisciplinary teams, driven major organisational change initiatives, and implemented robust safety and operational systems. Mark is committed to building high‑performing teams and fostering a culture of excellence that supports long‑term business success.

Robert Charles Dry is a semiconductor engineering and operations executive with over 40 years of global experience across RF, microwave, GaAs, Si and GaN technologies serving commercial, aerospace and defence markets. He has held leadership roles in the UK and US at Plessey, Elettronica, Filtronic, RFMD, Qorvo and Akoustis Technologies, leading advanced packaging innovation and high-volume manufacturing scale-up. Robert holds 29 U.S. patents and specialises in translating advanced technology into successful production.

Jason has 30+ years of engineering leadership in photonics and advanced semiconductors, with roles at Nortel Networks, Filtronic, RFMD, and Coherent. He has a proven track record of building high-performing teams that deliver innovative technologies at scale, powering next-generation products worldwide. Jason is committed to operational excellence, focusing on quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery.

Phil is a North England parachute turnaround and transformation CFO with over 30 years’ board and executive experience, specifically across industrial and technology sectors, including  Carclo plc, Sheffield Forgemasters, and various PE-backed enterprises requiring rapid turnaround and transformation.
