Backed by significant UK government investment, we're developing next-generation semiconductor platforms at our purpose-built facility in County Durham, which includes a 4,800m² Class 100 clean room, one of the largest of its kind in Europe.

Distinct from their silicon-only counterparts, compound semiconductors combine two distinct elemental materials – such as Gallium and Arsenide or Gallium and Nitride - to create additional application benefits such as improved high-frequency performance, greater power handling and higher operational resilience.
Octric’s compound technology platforms allow customers to design their own differentiated semiconductor products based upon our proprietary foundry processes to meet the needs of their application use cases.
